Stephanie is a softball instructor with a focus on catching and defense.

Stephanie was born and raised in Lakeville, MA and has been playing softball since she was about 6 years old.  She played for Apponequet High School, where she was a 4-year varsity letter-man, starting her freshman year at second, sophomore year at third and became the starting catcher her junior year and through her senior year.  Stephanie competed in the MIAA South Coast Division 2 program at Apponequet, was a Boston Globe All Star, First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-Conference, South Coast Conference All Star, First Team All-Scholastic, captain of the team her junior and senior years, and was awarded MVP her senior year by a unanimous vote amongst all coaches in the conference.  She batted .475 and threw out 85% of runners her senior year, all while helping lead her team to their first South Sectional title game since 1999.

Stephanie has played on numerous competitive and recruiting teams since she was 10.  She has participated in large showcase tournaments and camps such as Rising Stars, Colorado Fireworks, TPS Top 96, New England’s Finest, USA Elite Showcases, and Pennsbury Invitational and was first recruited when she was 15 years old.

Stephanie ended up being recruited for catching by NCAA Division 3, New England College.  As a freshman, Stephanie started in all 38 games, and was first on the team in batting average, hits, and homeruns, and was third on the team in fielding %, put outs, and assists.  She was also awarded Defensive Player of the Year her freshman year and was awarded the Pilgrim Award for softball, her senior year.

Currently, Stephanie is an assistant coach for Ponderosa High School.  Her focus is on catching and defense, while really honing in on the mentality and pitcher-catcher relationship.
