Keegan is a 2010 graduate of Ponderosa High School; where he was a two-sport athlete in Basketball and Baseball; earning all conference awards in both sports. Keegan went on to play college baseball at Ouachita Baptist College in Arkansas for 4 years and studied Business Management before he was drafted in June of 2014 by the Baltimore Orioles as a closing pitcher. While at Ouachita Baptist, Keegan earned several awards including First Team All Conference in the Great American Conference. In 2014, Keegan finished seventh in the country in triples. Many of his accomplishments are still holding school and conference records; both offensively, defensively and saves in pitching. As a sophomore, Keegan was name to the All GAC tourney team when his team fell in the conference final championship game, 3-4. Keegan’s freshman year at Ouachita, he was a nominee for Freshman of the Year in D2 baseball.
While playing for the two seasons in the minor leagues of the Orioles, Keegan posted an ERA of 2.19. Keegan also played in the Independent Professional Frontier League in 2016 and closed in 39 games and posted a 4.33 ERA. Keegan has been trained in hitting and pitching and enjoys coaching and teaching the students of Bardo's Diamond Sports. Book a lesson
