Brooks Dodson is originally from Piqua, Ohio (Central Ohio) where he played Division 1 (5A) high school baseball and football, going on to play collegiate baseball on scholarship at the U. of Toledo (MAC). His passion and love of the sport took a larger meaning in 2000 after moving to Colorado when he began coaching a 9 year old youth league team in Parker. His natural teaching ability and positive rapport with his players stood out immediately. Dodson then founded Warhawks Baseball in 2001, coaching players from age 7 through 14. In his 15 years as a youth baseball coach, Dodson has recorded over 550 wins and has enjoyed watching several players go on to be very successful at their high school and college levels. His coaching style and philosophies have proved successful at both the State and National levels of play. He and his teams have won more than 50 tournaments, including 8 Colorado State Championships and 8 League Titles.
“Brooks Dodson has been a staple to youth sports in the Parker community for over a decade. He embodies everything that is right with youth athletics; passion, empathy, and a true zest for being a transformational coach. Brooks is always available to talk and learn. His patience to find the best in people sets him on a pedestal as a coach at any level. Brooks has on heck of a green thumb, too.”

“Oh where to begin with words for Coach Brooks Dodson. I have never been around a coach that knows the game of baseball the way Coach Brooks does. He has a way about him that kids just take to and respond. If there was baseball magic he has it. Our son played many years under Coach Brooks and we can say without a doubt it was the best years of our lives and our son’s life. The knowledge he brought to the field everyday was simply amazing.”
