What sets us apart?
Instruction and Development
The first element that will set your TC experience apart is the Instruction & Development of all of our players. It is our goal to create development opportunities through our 3D Hitting and Healthy Heat models for all of our Team Colorado athletes. The summer can be a busy time on the field, but we never want to sit back, roll the balls out, and let the game or the opponent be the only thing that develops our TC players. True development takes time off the field in order to show great progress on the field. We agree with Nick Saban, Alabama’s football head coach, when he says, “It takes what it takes.”
College Recruiting and Exposure
The second thing that will set us apart is attacking College Recruiting and Exposure from multiple angles. When you join Team Colorado, you will gain a College Baseball Match membership that will provide a one-on-one phone call to establish a plan and the opportunity for their team to edit a video for you to use in the recruiting process. In addition, our coaching staff will be monitoring your FieldLevel profile and using it in your recruiting efforts. Finally, all of the coaches at Bardo’s will be working together using their own contacts to help our athletes get the opportunities at the next level that fit their skill set. By using a variety of powerful avenues, we believe Team Colorado offers the best opportunity for players to achieve optimum recruiting exposure.
Best Opportunities for On-Field Competition
Finally, we are working to create the best opportunities for On-Field Competition for our teams, both in state and out of the state. Our coaches will continue to choose the best in-state tournaments available as well as games against quality opponents as we balance our desire for instruction and development. We will also choose exceptional out-of-state tournaments to maximize those exposure opportunities. The top team at each age group will get to end the summer at the Marucci World Series in Baton Rouge against some of the top baseball clubs that the country has to offer. The schedule will be challenging and competitive, and our players will leave the summer satisfied.
We know what we have to offer the baseball community here at Bardo’s through Team Colorado. No organization can match our desire for instruction, and combined experiences at the professional, college, club and high school levels. We love all of the players we’re inviting and truly look forward to working with each of them in the summer of 2018.
